Clover Hill Luxury Vanilla Cake Mix 400g

Recipe: Just add eggs, vegetable oil, water, icing & decorations to make an 8″ Luxury Vanilla Cake (serves 8)

Method:

• Pre-heat the oven to 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5
• Grease/Line 2 x 8” sponge tins with baking paper
• Empty the contents of the tub into the mixing bowl
• Add the eggs, vegetable oil & water
• Mix for 2 mins until smooth
• Divide the batter evenly between 2 sponge tins (345g each)
• Bake for 25–28 mins until risen and centre is springy to the touch
• Allow to cool for 5 mins before turning out onto a cooling rack and cool completely before decorating
