Our Commitment to a Sustainable Future
At Clover Hill Food Ingredients (CHFI), we are dedicated to creating a sustainable, low- carbon business that benefits both our community and the planet. As we continue to grow, we’re focused on embedding sustainable practices in everything we do. Our goal is to achieve a low-carbon status by 2030, aligning our operations with the urgent global need for climate action and environmental stewardship..
Our Ambition and Responsibilities
- Low-Carbon by 2030: We are committed to becoming a low-carbon business by 2030.
- Collaborative Efforts: We work closely with suppliers and customers to accomplish our sustainability goals together.
- Carbon Footprint Tracking: We currently monitor our carbon footprint across Scopes 1 and 2 and will begin including Scope 3 emissions in 2027.
- Waste Reduction & Biodiversity: Our goal is to reduce waste by 15% by 2030 and incorporate biodiversity initiatives at our Millstreet site.
- Community Involvement: Our team is passionate about making a positive impact, both within CHFI to lower our carbon footprint and in supporting our local community through the sponsorship of local sports clubs and continued involvement in local community events (e.g. Tractor Runs, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, etc).
Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Pillars
ESG Pillar 1: Planet
