Clover Hill Food Ingredients is an independent, 100% Irish-owned, family-run company based in Millstreet, Co. Cork and formed by Dan and Eileen Buckley in 2003.
Prior to setting up Clover Hill Food Ingredients, Dan Buckley worked in a technical sales capacity for 15 years with leading global food ingredient manufacturers Griffith Laboratories (USA), Dalgety Food Ingredients (UK) and Kerry Ingredients (Irl).
At the time, the larger manufacturers were becoming more inwardly focused, rationalising delivery terms and making it harder for small/medium-sized customers to source ingredients at competitive prices. Dan identified a niche gap in the Irish food ingredients market and set out on his own.
We set up a warehouse facility in Millstreet, Co. Cork, to consolidate mixed consignments in-house. As a result, Clover Hill became a one-stop shop for many customers.
Founded in 2003 with two employees and sales of 8k in the first month, we are now a multi-million-euro Bakery Ingredients supplier built on the twin principles of providing excellent products and imparting top-class advice on the craft of baking to our customers. With modern warehousing and a dedicated multi-temperature delivery fleet, our service is flexible and customer-friendly and in tune with customers' needs.
Clover Hill Food Ingredients has achieved an AA+ Grade Food Safety BRC accreditation. This is assurance of the standards you are entitled to expect in the sourcing, handling, storage, distribution and traceability of products supplied by Clover Hill.
